Privacy
The short, honest version.
No legalese. Here is exactly what we hold, and what we will never do with it.
What we collect
Your email address, or whichever delivery channel you choose, and the preferences you give us: the subjects you're interested in, how deep you like to read, and any publications you already subscribe to. That's the whole of it.
What we do with it
We use it to send you your daily edition, and to choose what goes in it. Your preferences shape the selection; your address is where it arrives. Nothing more.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't track you across the web. And we don't optimise for your attention or engagement; read[dot] has no interest in how often you click, only in sending you something worth reading.
Your choices
You can change your preferences or unsubscribe at any time, and your edition changes with you. Leave whenever you like; take your data with you when you go.
As read[dot] grows, we'll formalise this into a fuller policy. The principles above won't change.
